windcatcher 0 #2 September 29, 2006 I don't hate it, but I certainly don't post nearly as much there as I used to. I have grown bored with the same old jokes between the same old people, and the same thread hijacking techniques. After taking a break from posting there awhile ago, I realized most of it is just people talking about their own little things going on in their world. However, it is a great place to meet people that you may jump with someday, and it's a great place to post news that you might want to share with people. Nothing compares to Speaker's Corner though! Lindsey 0 #4 September 29, 2006 Well, they'll argue incessantly with you just the same as here. But there, there's only emotional turmoil behind their vehemence. That doesn't move me. A little turmoil along with a well-conceived thought moves me more. In my travels to the bonfire I learned that some of them are capable of interacting on more of a pertinent and factual, rather than purely emotional, basis. Interesting thing was that those people tend to spend a lot of time here and, I'd imagine, only venture there out of curiosity. linz-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged. ACMESkydiver 0 #7 September 29, 2006 QuoteI sometimes see people on here mentioning that they hate the Bon Fire, and I don't see why? Because they know that we 'Bon Firians' are all a bunch of uneducated, Kafka-clueless heathens. None of us understand any of the intricacies of politics, culture, or spirtualism in the world around us because we are too fascinated by our own navel lint or vibrating cock rings to care. Most of us believe that toe jam goes well with peanut butter and Wonder bread. The only reason we would stray from our safe, brainless Bonfire to read SC threads would be to bring about boredom, confusion, and hopefully render us unconscious so that we might get enough sleep to wake up and go back to flipping burgers all day. We'd come home to watch the complete boxed set of the first season of 'Friends', which is how we form our view of the world around us. Or so I've heard.~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

After all, Al in Connecticut has never heard of it! And Biilvon and JohnRich will claim they are supported by the anti-gun lobby. And Rhemwa will post something surrealistic about them that they will not get. And Lucky will unilaterally disagree and discount whatever they say. And I will post long droning paragraphs that no one will read. This is kind of fun.
