you're probably right.
I don't agree with the war in Iraq, but even I can understand (and also, refrain from pretending I don't understand) the difference between what our soldiers are doing over there and what the terrorists are doing.

QuoteQuoteYou follow orders without questioning them, we read the newspaper and listen to the news. Oh, and we also study a bit of history to have a broader image of what experience has shown.
so your claim is that Warped (and his ilk)
1 - never questions orders
2 - doesn't read newspapers
3 - doesn't listen to the news
4 - doesn't understand history
why you (and your ilk) obviously do
Rather than a more respectful position that he (and his ilk) have the same information and have come to different conclusions than you have, even if they do seem very apparent to you.
It seems that "diversity" of thought is not something to be celebrated. Only cosmetic diversity is important?
This might be why all the people in Bonfire hate SC. It's a terribly condescending, arrogant stance that so many take here.
... in other words, if I were to take Slyfox's words, I would have replied: "And it is a pity that soldiers believe everything their superiors tell them"

QuoteI never said that. Please read the message.
In reading your message, you strayed from the topic and discussed the personality traits and 'generalized' character and intelligence of those on both sides of the discussion: You contrasted your elk with his elk stating in essense: His elk are automaton incapable of independent thought. While all your elk do research. (cartoon bubble of an Elk with reading glasses sitting at a table in a library - reading and taking notes)
You can claim this is about information sources for each side, but that's insincere unless you also credit him with his on-site experience and personal interaction with people involved in the conflict. In other words, I believe you mean it about info sources, but you sure colored it into a personal assessment about those that disagree with you.
We are all gladly left with the obvious inference as a result.

actually, that's how it came across (to me). Thanks for clarifying my point is much fewer words than I'm obviously incapable of doing.

I would like to find the whole Holy Grail text in the credits. It's funny stuff. Funny, I had just made a reference to "Spankings" in the other thread when you posted this.
