Bush: Worst President Ever. Yes or No?

Recommended Posts

Um ... If it wasn't for Bush, his balls of steel, and his desire to protect his country at all costs we'd have been blown up by Arabs many times over.

The fact that you are here and have the freedom to go online and say bad things about our fearless president should be reason enough to kiss the ground he stands on.

yep, such as suicide bombers. :S>:( How could terrorists think of be suicide bombers. Just image, US soldiers don't do be suicide bombers? Just because of terrorists have no high tech weapons? Suppose if US soldiers doesn't have high tech weapons, would they go for be suicide bombers to blast terrors?

We should thank God for a lot of things, specifically all of the blessings He has bestowed on us. Sarcasm, however, is not one of those blessings. It is a sin, and a tactic the devil uses to get people to turn against Him, our Lord.

No.

But that will be for history to decide.

Of course if you had asked me if he was the best president ever, my answer would be the same. I think he has done some good things and some bad. I am upset at the secret prisions. I am not all to happy with the wire taps without a court order. However, those wire taps may have prevented further attacks on U.S. soil. So I am torn on that issue. But I can say I was not upset when they were over turned in court.

It would have been very interesting to see how any other man would have done the same job in the same situation. One think I like about Bush is I really do think he is doing what he thinks is best for the Country. I can think of a few other people who did not.

Do you think that Dubya is the worst president ever or do you think he's been sent here by god to save the world from evil-doers?

He's still a long way behind LBJ and Nixon, just to stay in the realm of public events. If you want to go historical, you got Coolidge and Hoover to consider, along with half of the guys between the Civil War and 1900.

Well, let's see:

- We have LBJ on tape admitting he knows the VN War is unwinnable, but refuses to pull out because "I will not go down in history as the first American president to lose a war". i.e. His personal pride is more important than the lives of 50,000 young Americans.

- Nixon for all his faults:
-- Got us out of VN.
-- Normalized relations with China.
-- Had the last truly balanced budget.

I'd take Nixon over Dubya any day of the week.

Don;t worry, we'll keep invading them until we get it right. Hell, we'll invade the world, one country ata time, that way we ensure we get the REAL enemies. We are like Hitler; kill everyone to ensure we get the ones we wanted.

Yea, and Andrew Johnson. But Bush is the fiscal trainwreck of the history of the US. In 5 1/2 years he's driven the debt as high as did Reagan and his dad did in 12 years.

Off the top of my head, started OSHA. He did other stuff too, stuff that relates to helping people. He had a bad rap, but was a crook.

Speaking of lousy Presidents - How about Jimmy Carter?

Iranian Hostage Crisis
Energy Crisis
12% Inflation
21% Prime Interest Rate

But he did boycott the 1980 Olympics. That was a real show of strength.

Twenty-five years later, he's doing a fine job of undermining the US, on the international stage.

Yes, I do remember him declaring an illegal referendum "Valid" in Venezuela a couple of years ago.
