What Do You Think Would Happen If Rhino Were To Be Allowed To Come back To The DZ.Com Fold?

Rhino, Rob Cowan is one of my very good friends, i've known him for a lot of years. We started SkyDiving about the same time, at the same DZ. When he thinks he's right about something, he's paaionate about it, very passionate, we all allready know that! I know EVERYBODY takes on an "alter ego" behind the keyboards here. 99.94% of it is due to the Wednesday night's Tom Foollery in the pub, and "cliques" ganging up on a sole user, deludging them with PM's so fast they can't keep up, and the other 0.6% are just freaking assholes looking to start shit. (Statistics bear this out) C'mon.....C'mon, admit it. (Hell, i do, everybody here knows that's not a lie!) Who here lives in a "Glass House? Or plans to move into one soon?

Whaddya say? What's the DZ.Com community think? Should Rhino be allowed back? Or has he been given his second and last chance, and should we leave it at that?

I'm liable to get shot for this, but i thinik voting should be restricted to "Premier Members" I mean, if your not paying to stay, you can bail and not have to pay to hear an organ grinder play music you don't want to pay for.

My vote: "Hell Yeah" One more chance. Rob, if you are allowed to come back and you fuck HH ,the moderators or anyone else here,.... i'm flying up north and i will kill you! J/K.....well....maybe not.

Personally I never really had a problem with Rhino. As far as I can recall, he largely tended to play the argument, rather than the man, at least in the public posts.

SC by it's very nature tends to produce "frank" debate, so perhaps it's time to allow a return on probation?

That said, I don't always agree with Rhino, hell we've had some knock down ding dongs on here over the years, but I like him. I think he's a decent bloke and I'd be happy if he were allowed back into the fold. I vote bring back the Rhino!

He was brash and often played the man IMO, but this is SC. Let him back and I think moderation s/b eased here. In incidents, yea, needs to be tight, but let this place fly.

BTW, I agree with the mob mentality thing, but disagree that premier members should only have votes.... don't you think it would exacerbate the mob mentality? Is it ok so lomg as you're in the mob? Think about it.

He was given a lot more than two chances.

We don't discuss what happens to other users in detail, nor is public opinion a factor in how they are treated. Willem has a pretty simple set of rules; not heeding them will get you warned/banned/removed from the forum.

Rob is indeed a good guy, but his popularity will not affect how he is treated by the mods.
