Lieberman defeated in CT primary

I thought it was interesting that Liberman recieved ~70% of the registered republican's votes for the state and about 30% of the democrats. The democrat's canidate recieved about 65% of his own party and only about 5% from independents.

Wait till the Dems start pushing their cut and run agenda -

The events of last week showed that silly expression has no traction.

You gotta be kidding. What put Dems over the top was exactly that expression.

Whats going to be real interesting is watching the "say anything to get elected" left try to find a balance between the extreme left-wing who helped put them in charge of Congress and the moderate voters of Democrats like Lieberman, Webb etc.

Should be real interesting. I will enjoy pointing out the hypocracy which will occur because I don't think the Dems will be able to do it and I think they will end up pissing off both.

Regardless of the breakdown, I'm just delighted to see someone running as an independent win an election to a seat in Washington.

>I will enjoy pointing out the hypocracy which will occur . . .

Like a lot of anti-democrats, you're in a pretty ideal situation now. If the democrats follow their agenda to the letter, they're "inflexible" and they lied when they said they'd cooperate with Bush. The filthy liars!

If the democrats compromise, then they will not achieve all their stated objectives. But they promised! The filthy liars!

Either way you win!

Has your crystal ball has improved? Your predictions about Iraq since the spring of 2003 have not been conspicuous by their accuracy. (I suppose you might have just been parroting Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld, though).

What is it I win?

They put themselves in that position, not me. That's what happens when you compromise what's best for the country in favor of pandering to special interests. Eventually, you have to make decisions and put forward a concrete plan instead of being vague and noncommittal.

No arguement so attack the person, huh? No surprise there.

Had Bush sent more troops in, as my crystal ball recommended, things would have been very different. I realize it's convenient to leave those facts out to make a point, but do try to do better will you?

Your argument. A large percentage of the threads you have started here are over how much the democrats suck. Now you will have more ammunition to win your arguments.

The threads I start over how much Democrats suck are miniscule compared to the ones started on how much Bush or the Republicans suck. Not surprising, I've rarely, if ever heard you complain about those. Why is that Billvon?

Oh I won't need to let you know how it's going. It will be all around you. Be careful what you wish for.

DNC, GOP...both are equally guilty of this charge.

I agree. Most Politicians seem to become ethically corrupt given enough time in office. I'm just poking a little fun at the Dems, pointing out the dilemma of what they had to say to get elected vs what they will have to be able to do to maintain their majority. And enjoying the over reaction and personal affront by some. :D

Based on your dismal record, I suspect you are practising soothsaying without a license.:P
