miked10270 0 #2 July 29, 2006 Has there been problems with spectator violence at Buc's games or Florida sporting events in general? OR is this simply institutional paranoia? Mike. Taking the piss out of the FrenchAmericans since before it was fashionable. Prenait la pisse hors du FrançaisCanadiens méridionaux puisqu'avant lui à la mode. Eroding our rights in the name of keeping us safe. Used to be able to bring big coolers to games and races. Forget it now. Plus they get up close and personal w/ you. Might find a flask or some pot so they can lock you up to protect you from yourself. And the state makes big bucks on the prison systems here in the U.S. don't ya know Mike.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. Kennedy 0 #5 July 29, 2006 The teams are private entities, right? The stadium security isn't discriminating or seriously incoveniencing anyone are they? People will still pay to go to the game with or without the seraches, won't they? The only problem I have with this practise is that the fields are not truly private property. If government would stick to the scope of government and leave entertainment to the private sector, then I'd say search whomever you please, as it's your land and your right, and their right to leave and not enter if they chose. Whoever, because the government is involved in one shady way or another, we need to involve the courts and make lawyers a little bit wealthier. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
