460 0 #1 July 25, 2006 I was visiting Beijing China last week on business and we stopped by the Chinese Silk Factory while on a tour. The guides in this town always include some shop on the tour so that they can get a profit cut for things we buy. Anyway, in the beginning of the tour, they had some very exotic and some ridiculous Oriental silk suits. Next to that they had some photos of various world leaders wearing them. What I found interesting was the photo of Bush and one of the heads of the Chinese communist party in 2001. I don't believe this is Chairman Hu, but I could be wrong. Interestingly, this was about the same time when the Chinese forced down a reconnanscence (spelling?) plane south of Taiwan into China.
