GTAVercetti 0 #1 July 25, 2006 Here is a decent article on net neutrality. For those who are too lazy to click, I will at least define the battle: Under the current system of net neutrality, regardless of internet provider, you can go to any site. Get your internet from AOL? Well, you can still access the the Comcast Cable internet site. Easy. Unrestrictive. However, some internet providers want to be able to limit your access to the net. That is, if you are on their network, they can block certain sites. Imagine that your service provider has corporate ties to Circuit City. Well, they could (in theory) block you from visiting the Best Buy website if net neutrality is removed. Here is the link to the article. I think it is a good stepping point to learn more about this topic. http://business.newsforge.com/business/06/07/19/206209.shtml?tid=138&tid=3&netneutralityisgoodWhy yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
