CanuckInUSA 0 #1 July 18, 2006 I wish I would have seen this 3 part show back in April when it was originally broadcast. But at least I'm catching it now this evening on the CBC and I really wish America could be watching this show tonight. If you're a strong supporter of Bush you won't like it, I guarantee you that. But if you're questioning the Iraq war and current world situations, it's a real eye opener to the radical Islamists and the neo-cons and the fear of terror which isn't remotely as dangerous as they want us to think it is. Shame on you neo-cons and shame on you radical Islamists. You've fooled me no more and it's time to get on with my life. What I don't understand is... why, are we in Iraq in the first place if, it isn't oil? Those people aren't going to change. They've had their culture and feuding long before the U.S. was thought of. Every nation, to some degree, has their propaganda. Why, shouldn't we have ours? I have had the opportunity, at times, to view some of CBC's programming... good stuff! CanuckInUSA 0 #5 July 18, 2006 QuoteIs there a summary somewhere? Read the web site. Here's the summary from: Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3 The threat of some terrorists acts from radical youths of Islam is real. But the threat is not on the mass scale that Bush and his cronies want us to believe and there is no massive terror network and all these wars Iraq, now Lebanon and coming soon Iran, Syria and North Korea didn't need to happen except that Bush and his cronies fabricated the threats to con the American public into believe the war(s) were/are necessary. Shame on you neo-cons and shame on the very few radical Islamists that are indeed out there. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

I work in New York City. If 9/11 hadn't happened, the world would be a different place today. Bush and his people, whom I've lost faith in, didn't start it. I'll check out the URLs. CanuckInUSA 0 #7 July 18, 2006 This TV show isn't one of those conspiracy shows. The show lays blame for 911 on the radical Islamists. But if people want to continue to walk around with their blinders on towards what the US government (or was that the neo-conservative wing of the Republican party) and what they have been doing for years, then people are still living in ignorance. It all started long ago during the battle between good and evil ... remember the battle between Capitalism and Communism and how evil the USSR was and that the USA was here to save the world from those nasty Soviets. But now that the Soviets are no longer in the picture, the neo-cons needed someone to save the world from. Enter the radical Islamists (who do exist, just not on the scale that Bush and his cronies want you to believe). So if you think Bush is a great man and a saviour for the world (don't forget God is on America's side here's 10% of my income), then please ignore this thread as it's not for you. But if you question what Bush is doing in the world then it is time to wake up and realize that he is just (if not more) dangerous to world peace than those nasty Islamists.
