Guns, Cops and Starbucks Coffee.....

So Friday morning I go to Starbucks for coffee. When I open the door I immediately notice a detective who is wearing a Glock pistol in a shoulder holster. I really did not think anything of it at that point in time, other than I have the same rig myself...........But when I went to fix my coffee with cream and sugar, I realize that the pistol is pointed at me, and when I turned around to look, the barrel of the Glock is sticking out between his arm and back about an inch or so, about four feet back. I pointed the gun out to two other people and they thought nothing of it...........So, what do you think? How would you have felt about a gun pointed at you while you were fixing your perfect morning cup of coffee????????[:/]

If you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about.

You may have missed my point.

I'd say it was very bad manners on the part of the detective.

I thought it a little inconsiderate. I see detectives there all the time and it is obvious where they like to pack, but this is the first time I have ever seen one so comfortable at a table as if he were at his desk. The kinda funny part is that his back up, or the guy I think was his back up, took notice of me and kept his eye on me the entire time the detective was talking with the person he was there to meet with.

As for actually getting shot by AD, far stranger things have happened!;):)

While its in the holster it could magicly fire? That's really a stretch for someone who's all about science and facts.

It's not like it hasn't happened before. As a gun nut and a cop (or soon to be) I figured you would have known that....

You make him sound like officer Tacklberry!:D

There you go, bringing Bush into an unrelated thread again . . . :PB|

No! Don't insult dogs.
