Crack Found in Shuttle Foam

Recommended Posts

This explains all of the problems at NASA. The damn scientists are smoking crack!!!! Even worse, they are apparently attempting to use it as some kind of foam additive on the external fuel tank!!

Is this where is $1.5 billion went?

This just proves that NASA is far our reaching in its abilaties. Since the USA has no one to go aainst like the great moon race of the late 60's. Now here we have this 25 year old shuttle that has more then paid for itself in what it has done been a cost demon in its age. No it cost even more then it used to especialiy since the 86 destruction:
Now try and launch one with all the specs and worn out parts. I dont see why they just done get reid of the form and go with a large blanket that fits around that big fuel tank. That would still keep the fuel cold and will not break apart unless this blanket is made in some cheap labor induced nation (Quality Control)....
But remember this is the same nation that sends millions of dollars out to other countries to make them see our way of not knowing if we will ever get paid in return.

A great example is the changing of the name of the Federal Center here in Battle Creek, MI to the Hart-Dole-Inhaua Federal Center: Since these guys stayed here during WWII for medical treatment. Total cost to the tax payers 25 million. Thanks Sentaor Carl Levin (MI) for the added expense. When we have used this money for something else...

But what do I know?? I should run for office.

Just blowing off some steam on our tax dollars at work...../>:(
