Jib 0 #3 June 21, 2006 I wonder what the theory is behind killing your lawyers... at least until after you lose. Did they do a bad job? Is it to dissuade people from defending Saddam or participate in the trials? -------------------------------------------------- the depth of his depravity sickens me. -- Jerry Falwell, People v. lawrocket 3 #7 June 21, 2006 QuoteQuoteWhat's the pay? Your life. My wife and I discussed this last night. A local attorney whom we know well was shot in the neck about a month ago. Last week, a client of his disappeared. he was interviewed on Fox News last night, and seeing Kim on television was not eye-opening, but more confirming. It's not worth dying for. My wife is hotter than your wife.

Sounds like a rotten job. I suggest we send lawyers to do it.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

I'm not advocating shooting anyone, but lawyers and their buddies wearing robes can sometimes ruin people's lives to the point that life is not worth living, or so they think. And the appellate courts do nothing but affirm their buddies at the trial courts.... Hate the game (US gov and rules of court) not the players (lawyers, etc...). But it is sometimes hard to distinguish from the players and the game....

I dont' disagree. There are some attorneys in town that I will refuse to work with if I found out that one of them is on the other side of a case. And there was one judge who thankfully has been relieved. Still, I find that 90 percent of the time, it is the clients who ruin themselves in far more spectacular ways than attorneys or judges can. I'll put it this way - the sociopathic maniac parent who shoots a lawyer or a judge because of a child custody dispute likely resented that the judge or attorney considered that parent to be a sociopathic maniac. It's typically because the parent exhibits that form of behavior that the courts keep the kids away from them. Something to chew on... My wife is hotter than your wife.
