Well this can't be true, because the lefties just can't have the truth being told.

You are now causing them to seek counseling :D

Yes, because after all, Fox News is the only network that tells the truth.

:S

I believe it's you guys that should seek counseling -- Room 101 has really done a number on y'all.

edited to add a t-shirt design for rushmc that I've posted before. You really would wear it quite well.

Wow! Not thats evidence invading Iraq was justified when grouped with the nationalistic chant of "9/11 - 9/11 - 9/11"

I think that was the second of many reasons the Bush Administration gave for the invasion. After the first one. Going on the UN's behalf, even after they said "DON'T"! But before the third one "We are liberators"

That report, has finally convinced me:S That link was solid

Lets not forget the other documents that show clearly we are winning the war in IRAQ. Dead men tell no tells unless they leave the writtings behind.

ZOWCOWWEE, :D:D, helped lead us to many other killers that we had the chance to Kill (107) and capture hundreds more. I'm thinking Club Gito for the captured foreign fighters and a trail before the military court and a bullet.

'It is highly probable...appeared to chronicle ...describes a meeting with an unidentified Iraqi official referred to as “M.O.M.,” who possibly is Tahir Jalil Habbush al Tikriti,...Probably M.O.M.'

Oh yes this is absolute proof isn't it! It is full of probable, maybe, and references to unidentified 3 parties.

I have a genuine question though and that is surely three years after the overthrow of Saddam, the capture of many of his top officials and pretty much unfeterred access to the Iraqi government archives, wouldn't you think that the US would be able to find something a bit more definitive than this?

Without wishing to impugn Fox News' editorial policy, I think I'll wait and see it The BBC picks it up. The nice thing about The Beeb is that it's money's guaranteed without control over it's content - they don't have to satisfy anyone to ensure their income. This is perhaps the best guarantee of impartiality we can get.

Well said -- precisely why BBC is my primary news source.

It's useless to try communicating what you said to rushmc though -- I've suggested BBC many times to him, but his idea of impartiality is pretty much any swill that caters to his viewpoints.

I have proof Rumsfeld is a terrorist. He associated with the Taliban supporting, gas-his-own-people scumbag, Saddam Hussein.

No. That was in no way indirect!

I believe that when you look at ANY information source or news service, you should consider the words of Miles Copeland: "Listen to what they're saying, then consider WHY they're saying it."

Could have fooled me. I've yet to see you cite anything from them. Perhaps it's because they do their jobs as journalists and not propagandists?

Which London online paper -- could it perhaps be The Sun (also owned by Rupert Murdoch)? They recycle a lot of Fox News' garbage.

Personally, I have nothing against you and I'm sure you're a nice fellow. I'm not sure why you would take this as an attack; just commenting on the skewed sources you continually cite here. It's like masturbation or a circle-jerk with political ideas -- you're not going to convince anyone else other than those who agree with you when you cite only NewsMax/Fox etc. as your sources.

Ok then, I'll modify my quote:

People go the places they are the most comfortable and I do the same. However, when looking at many sites most of the time (not all) it is a cut and paste duplicate. Fox, despite what those that do not like it. Has more sides of a story with less inserted comentary in thier news than most other outltes. The problem that others have with Fox and other non original outlets is that the "originals" no longer can make a statement and have it go unchallenged.
Too bad from them. Their own BS reporting is why they are loosing shares, not because Fox is here...

The comments made were uncalled for and incorrect. I hope no one posting back directly to you says it is useless (just because you disagree) let alone to someone else in the thread wondering if you might see it.........

Actually, I think Fox's BS reporting is exactly why they're the #1 news outlet -- the sensational and partial commentary and the baiting with loaded questions adds entertainment value that other news outlets have not offered.

I'm a little confused here.

Didn't President Bush himself say there was no link between Saddam and 9/11?

WHY do you keep harping on this?

LOL. Only one of these articles that you state is related to the article the thread is about. Two articles are about the al-Zarqawi documents indicating the Al Qaeda plot to start a US/Iran war. One is about the possibility Russia gave Iraq our war plans prior to the invasion. Only the weekly standard piece deals with the article that this thread pertains to.

Do you always do such rigorous research?

For a second I wondered if that photo was doctored, but the juxtaposed flowers underneath Saddam and bin Laden were enough proof to me that they were in the same place together.

hilarious, I laughed out loud at that one :D

Your kidding right?

Even college studies have said ABC, CBS and NBC input direction and opinion in the "news".

Simple things like starting a story saying "Right Wing commentator" (you insert the name)...

But bring up the likes of Farhcon (sp) and the Reverand Jackson, Dean, Soros, Sheehan for christ sakes, with very little leading comentary.

Fox is by far more ballanced but I can not say they do not embelish for sales sake.......
