Well, now that the Department of Justice is investigating Mayor Mike and his private investigators for possible violations of state and federal law, and those gun shops he had raided have all been given back their inventory (approximately 500 firearms to two stores, maybe more), I really have to wonder if he still thinks all his BS publicity stunts were worth it.

Well, of course he does because if you listen to his spindoctors, everything is right and wonderful and he's never done anyhing wrong.

Here in the real world: he's harassing businesses who have not even violated the law including confiscating inventory, going bananas about metal treatments and paint, and being investigated by the Feds.

I would say that Federal and Local levels have far more control than intended, and far more than is appropriate, but the State level is just about right, with maybe a little more needed - to replace the federal overreach which would disappear in my happy little world.
