Flying-Wench 0 #51 June 7, 2006 QuoteI think it's a valid issue that needs a constitutional amendment. One that says "Legal marriage shall not be denied to any person on the basis of their gender or sexual orientation." hear hear!
kelel01 1 #52 June 7, 2006 All I can say is "YEA!". The amendment got shot down in the Senate. Next thing you know Bush will come on air and say that women should not vote because of terrorism. I know that seems way far, but it really wouldn't surprise me.----------------- I love and Miss you so much Honey! See, it's comments like this that make me wonder what going on in your skulls. What do women and their voting rights have to do with terrorism? The sanctity of marriage is already being destroyed by people that don't take it seriously and allowing gay people to marry just promotes it even more. Directly related. When women as a whole start voting for terrorists and fascism your argument will make . Until then, it doesn't make any sense. Geez. This ad space for sale. Geez. ______________________________________ How many mad women have you seen? That's terror in it's purist form! I think, this whole Constitutional Ammendment thing is a 'snow job' on the part of the politicians to keep them from working on the 'real' issues. With hopes of not screwing-up their chances for re-election. Gimme a break! I think, we need to vote every one of those clowns out of office and start all over. There are 'real' issues out there and the politicians are more concerned with whether or not gays and lesbians can 'legally' get married. If, the politicians are so afraid of tackling the real issues... they don't need to be in office. They all told us when they were running for office, all the 'big' things they would do if elected. All any of them do is skirt and side-step. Just keep those big lobbyist pay-offs coming in! I was just saying that we are going backwards in time since this whole whole gay marrige thing started. Next point is; you talk about the sanctity of marriage has been destroyed by gays. It has long been destroyed. Your saying this in a country were we have TV shows called "Who wants to mary a multi-millionare?" Gays getting married are not destroying anything! If we have a 50% divorse rate, there is a much underlying problem and I don't think that gays are doing anything to make it worse. I want you to give me one reason why gays getting married will hurt your personal life.
