I am not touchy about this at all.
Being a bit of a political junky I watch this stuff with interest.
And after watch for years I don't believe in coincidence any more
if we falter and lose our freedoms,
it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
Abraham Lincoln
Being a military guy on active duty means he will not withdraw due to some skeleton in the closet, or insults to his family, etc., he simply won't give a shit.
I predict now that Kennedy, Schumer, Feinstein, Pelosi, and Reid will once again show what vicious, hate filled, partisan fucks they are.

I was not referring to the fact they will oppose his nomination, only the manner in which it will be done.
Actually Denny Hastert is a good guy and my congressmen...I am glad about that.

Oh, I think a democrat will as easily (and with as much justification) call the GOPers "lying hypocritical fucks" and claim the democrats are "standing up to the culture of corruption."
But rhetoric aside, this guy is opposed by members of both parties.
He will be confirmed.
The military argument against him is stupid.
He's not the first nor will he be the last.
Nothing new here by a long shot.
