SarahC07 0 #7 May 1, 2006 As I understand it, legal and illegal immigrants are skipping work today. I hope they all get fired. It's all a tad ridiculous. Just be a legal immigrant. Is that all that hard? If so, go home.

Is that all that hard? If so, go home. some companies shut down for the day (or at least partically). I take that means that they are for it or just expected everyone to leave. that was mostly the larger companies which have legal workers. It's the smaller businesses that were hurt more since all their staff left without notice.. but i'm sure those were more illegal Where is my fizzy-lifting drink? SarahC07 0 #17 May 1, 2006 I know of a company, that's not *small* that did not shut down today. With more than 50% of my friend's department being hispanic he's having a hell of a time working today. He thinks they should all be fired and replaced, too. Of course he's doing his job and their jobs and he's running around like a maniac today.
