NWFlyer 2 #1 April 30, 2006 This seemed pretty funny to me. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
DaVinci 0 #2 April 30, 2006 Well the whole thing seemed funny. Stephen Colbert is pretty funny. I would have loved to have seen "The president had talked to the crowd with a Bush impersonator alongside, with the faux-Bush speaking precisely and the real Bush deliberately mispronouncing words. At the close, Bush called the imposter "a fine talent. In fact, he did all my debates with Senator Kerry." Sounds like Bush did lighten up I bet it was funny. Michele 1 #3 April 30, 2006 QuoteI bet it was funny. When they were at the podium together, it was hysterically funny. And I disagree with the article - Bush did lighten up a lot, and the whole thing was scripted. He had to have approved the skit. Too funny. And I think also a well done! to Stephen Colbert, who had to have been nervous as hell working with the President like that. EricTheRed 0 #5 May 1, 2006 That was one truely well done roasting. I can't believe that Cobert's performance isn't getting more attention. I think Bush was truely pissed by the end of the 'joke'. Cobert definately got his number...illegible usually
