I didn't miss anything, you can't have it both ways, the left including John are regularly saying how he does it better than the real News hinting at their own agenda, then use the gutless cop-out that he's only a comedian when the claim is criticized. Most notably when John did it himself on hardball, he should have been torn a new one on there but he got away with it, again. If you want to make the claim then don't whine when you're called on it. It's called a figure of speech. Suppose I say someone is such a bad doctor/plumber/whatever that I could do a better job. Does that mean I actually think I am a doctor/plumber/whatever? OK, you REALLY missed the point of my post. Jon Stewart is a comedian. It is not his job to do political commentary; his job is to make people laugh. Even so, he seems to do a better job than the CNN or FOX talking heads. It's like a skygod who claims he's great at 4-way, when in fact he is worse at RW than someone who just graduated from AFF. That's not saying that the guy who just graduated from AFF is an amazing skydiver. It's saying that the skygod who is claiming he is great at 4-way really isn't great at 4-way. See?
