Outside of McKinney, there's not much for glaring examples, sorry.

Ok, I looked up "McKinney" and she appears to be a member of the house. You must think she's racist and maybe you're right. I don't know.

Without passing judgement (cause I know how ignorant I am about her) let's stipulate it for the sake of argument. Is this the systematic, widespread, open racism at the heart of the entire party? One minor congressperson is it??? Reaching. Really reaching!

Oh, I see good old gravitymaster found the same editorial you did. Good boy!

No, no.... the Times writes "crap"...so that doesn't count.

Except they quote Democratic Leaders admitting it. It's unbelievable to me that someone could be so blinded to the facts in this case that they could defend blatant, admitted racism. Actually, I take that back, some people never cease to amaze me.

Apparently you guys SKIMMED the article. Perhaps that's all they taught you to do in school.

The article describes democratic leaders admitting it, but does NOT quote democratic leaders admitting it. Do you know the difference? Descriptions are unverifyable interpretations on the part of the journalist who's clearly looking for trouble -- and possibly inventing it.

Are you going along with the game through wishful thinking or just clumsiness?

I live in this area and this was on TV, radio, in the newspapers etc. There were Democratic leaders on record admitting they were using race against Michael Steele. So before you continue to apologize for a group of Racist, you might want to do some research. I'm sure if we inserted the word "homosexual" instead of "house niggar, or Oreo", you'd be ready to firebomb them.

I asked for references. I got some lousy ones. Instead you want me to read your minds? Well, I'll try.

The wackos on the other side of the thought-stifling one-dimensional political spectrum are just as wacky, but at least their true motives don't seem to be racial and sexual bigotry.

I am not sure that, hidden sinister motives disguised as honourable intentions is a uniquely right wing thing. For example when dealing with race relations, I have on numerous occasions had heated debates with visible minorities about policies, ranging from, affirmative action, hate crimes legislation, reverse discrimination .... etc. I have often found that while they start with moderate tones, if you start cornering them on an issue they will respond with a comment to the effect of "Oh white people are just..........". When suggesting how a certain policy may be unfair to white people I have frequently received responses like " White people have had it too easy, and need to be knocked off their high horse" or "Good, it will show white people what it is like". I have ran across many left wingers with a strong anti-white attitude who have demonstrated that they harbour intense dislike towards white people and cannot wait to see whites get their comeuppance.

I am not trying to be difficult, but I felt compelled to point out that there are also people clinging to the left wing and hiding their own hatreds behind more moderate left wing ideology. It will not surprise me for that matter if this post induces some people to play the race card on me.

I do realize that these people represent a small proportion of the left wing (as do white racists who hide behind moderate right wing ideology), but they do exist also.

Anyway,

Cheers,

Richards

Hmm we could always point them to these staunchly republican racists and gay bashers....for whatever reason they seem to always get a good turnout for republican candidates. Things that make you go HMMMMMMM:o

Mike, you and Gravitymaster guys are beating your heads against the wall. The further it goes, the more snide, condescending remarks that will come your way from your antagonist.

Sorry, but this is an example of racism by whom?

THe C of CC has a long history of trying to find ANY forms of racisim against whites... basically to show WHY they as good loving church going citizens need to have theri own rasict views to protect the white race from further encroachment.

Just read down thru their "articles" that they find and link on their website.. you will NEVER see anything there about white on black or white on red.. or white on brown or good old boy on homo attacks.

Its just the way the website is.. in many circles they are referred to as the Uptown Klan.

I fully expect.. that some ASSHOLE RIGHTIE will come on next and start talking about Democrats who supported the Klan.. but ya know.... I remember ALL too well... in my family in particualr the WHITE FLIGHT of the Conservative Democrats and Dixiecrats of the south to the Ultra Right Wing of the Republican party because when President Johnson passed the Voting rights bills and other civil rights legislation in the 1960.... those same family members did not want to be in a party with a bunch of N@#$@#$.. I heard it over and over again.. and to this day I avoid that part of my extended family for the sorry excuses of humanity that they are. They may go to church every sunday.. they may ask forgiveness for their sins.. but the way they "love thy neighbor" as Christ taught.... will guarantee them no place with him or his father.

ASSHOLE RIGHTIE

Ooo . . pre-emptive personal attack. Cute.

Yo! Asshole Rightie, right here!

Racism is neither a root philosophy nor the exclusive franchise of the Republican party. Many of those who vote Republican sincerely believe that Democratic positions on crime, welfare, taxes, and many other social issues are actually detrimental to the country as a whole and minorities in particular. You can of course disagree with them, but that doesn't make them assholes.

The Democratic party's history on race is as ugly as the Rebuplican's, just like the rest of the country. Trying to define it along party boundaries is useless. All our predecessors share the blame equally. Sure, a Democrat pushed the Voting Rights Act, and another Democrat filibustered it. Big whoop. Trying to assume a mantle of racial superiority now because of party affiliation is at best misguided, and usually just pathetic.

Let me try this again to get thru whatever fog there seems to be forming there.

The website of the C of CC goes out and finds ANY and all news stories that supports their positions that the White race and Conservatives are under attack on a daily Basis. If you scroll down on their website.. you will find plenty of links of anything they find as an attack on them.

BUt notice they do not post the opposite attacks on Jews..... blacks... homosexuals.....but if you look over their website for a period of time you will get the point.

oh and Skydyver.. perhaps you might want to read the website too.. there is a kewl link there where you can renew your membership.

That's it??? You've found a right-wing website that is also racist and that's some kind of news flash?

Can you possibly be of the opinion that there are no left-wing websites out there that are also racist? :o Here's just one I found without trying really hard.

And when the entire Democrat party tells minorities "you can't make it in life without us helping you" it doesn't mean anything to you? I find that equally as racist as anything the bedsheet brigade could come up with, and even worse because it's accepted as the norm by the great majority of the country...
