Having spent a couple of weeks in the rubble of the WTC I can tell you first hand that there were not a lot of large pieces of anything left.

Cell phones do work at 30,000 feet and can be used once you have exited American airspace. The US doesn't allow cell phone use on flights as a security measure.

Actually you didn't fix anything Amazon. I agree with what 99% of the population thinks happened on Sep 11th based on factual evidence - in video format, expert testiment, sheer obviousness/common sense and countless eye witness accounts. Please tell me how planes didn't hit the WTC. Guess the thousands of people who saw it with their own eyes are lying I presume?

I was on vacation tht day, I was on my way to the marina to go salmon fishing on my boat. When I got to the bait shop and saw the second plane hit I knew we were going to war and said so.

For a period of time after the attacks our country was finally united behind our president and we had the support of the entire world.

When they manipulated the facts to start the war with Iraq( choose your own favorite excuse that they are trotting out today) the administration made a huge blunder. Not only have they lost the support of the world, but now the MAJORITY of the American people.

Uhhh no woman, but here's a cookie for trying. Just b/c someone supports Bush generally does not mean I take everything the govt says for 100% truth. And just b/c I follow orders doesn't mean I ALWAYS think it's the best thing to do...come on, you should understand that. We're not talking about believe govt "lies" as you call it, we're talking about believing whether 9/11 happened as it said it did (i.e. planes crashing into WTC and Pentagon). Your sarcasm is closer to reality than you may think. Remember a few years ago when gasoline prices were below a buck? Well, a WalMart was going on when the large oil refineries sold gasoline at a loss to intentionally drive out the small oil refineries out of business, thus being able to buy thier assets cheaply, and mothball them, making certain supply is less than demand, thus creating higher profits. They did have enormous profits during the Katrina disaster didn't they?

Thanks for posting this, I'm glad someone out there can be bothered to refute all the conspiracy guff that floats around. These conspiracy arguments are based on a house of cards with many statements of 'fact' are just not established at all but non critical readers just fall for it hook line and sinker while thinking they're the ones with an open mind. Sigh.

Find a conspiracy theory that actually contains a reasonably intelligent premise, and it'll be much better recieved, no doubt.

It's also funny how the conspiracy theorists keep telling everyone they should have open minds, but can't consider any evidence other than the theory du jour.

I don't think that website lends any more facts to the case. I was personally on the ground in Nacogdoches Texas, picking pieces of the space shuttle up. There were pieces. HUGE pieces. If the wings and tail didn't penetrate the building, then where are they? By all logical conclusions, they should've hit the concrete, steel reinforced wall, smashed, and the debris bounced off. There would have been HUGE pieces on the lawn. They wouldn’t have immediately incinerated with no recognizable trace left. There was very little debris on the lawn if any, excludin right next to the hole in the wall. 1 rim, 1 piece of the fan, and a whole lot of nothing.

Also, the part where they superimposed the jetliner on the security camera is a SUPER STRETCH. Look at the cockpit window and tail of the plane before they superimpose. A child could tell that that's not the same plane. And the scale is all wrong.

There's links in the thread to F4 crash tests simulating a collision with a containment vessel wall - did you go check it out? As I recall, there was very little left of the F4 (even though it's built to withstand combat damage and was moving slower than the 757 when it hit the Pentagon).

Care to speak about how many HUGE pieces they found in Pennsylvania at the crash site?

A passenger airliner is tinder compared to a re-entry vehicle. What debris was left after the disintegration of the shuttle survived because the debris slowed down before it could evaporate more. the leftovers? I imagine the planes hitting the buildings were going faster than the debris falling falling out of the sky.

Most crashes, the pilot is trying to get the plane down as slow and as flat as possible...not deliberately slam it into a building or into the ground as fast as possible. That would make just a bit of difference in the impact angles and forces, wouldn't you agree?

Yes, and, "the earth is clearly flat."

Here's the video of the F4 crash test that mnealtx mentioned. The only huge, and I use the term loosely, pieces left are the tips of the wings which were shorn off because they extended beyond the edges of the test wall.

Here's an example of how a plane hitting a building can leave no debris. This was just an apartment building hit by a C-130. Certainly not as solid as the Pentagon.

So someone took the wings off the plane before it hit I guess? Where is the damage where the wings and engines should have been. The photo of the entry point on the site you linked to shows no visible damage where the wings should have hit the building.

It's not like when Wiley E. Coyote hits a rock and leaves his outline. Wings on a plane are surprisingly fragile and most likely were bent back and then disentegrated with the rest of the plane.
