smiles 0 #28 March 17, 2006 My son died at birth with spina bifida 15 yrs. ago- The scans done early in my pregnacy detected spina bifida and I was told he would not survive birth. At the time due to abortion laws, a cessarian birth was not performed -(the hospitals did not want to be sued) it was required that I carry him full term (one emotional mess to feel him alive and kicking...) The opportunity to hold Leland and have a thorough look at every eeenie part of him after birth was very helpful -dealing with his loss. thanx so much for posting!!
