Of course they are not the same. No two people are the same. The important thing to realize is that their religion is NOT the issue; their actions are.
> She does make the point on how they are different.
Actually she comes out and says that this is NOT a conflict of religions. You may disagree, but that's what she says. (Perhaps, if that really is the core of your argument, you might find a champion of it that does not claim the opposite.)

That's Koran. And yes, they misuse the Koran just as people misused the Bible during the Crusades, and just as they misuse the Bible today to justify killing doctors and gays.

Did Christianity fall after the Crusades? Or did Christians just learn to not be as violent?
No, and no. Remember the Inquisition.

And the accuracy or lack there of in that statement brings us back to the same arguement that does not need to be repeated as its fruitless. I would say that you will continue to believe as you do, but frankly I think you are too smart to honestly believe the arguements you put foward, so that is all the more reason to not further this disscussion.

No kidding. I was at college with Eric Idle (just missed Cleese and Chapman, who were older).

Over the last 20 years, anti-abortion terrorists have been responsible for six murders and 15 attempted murders (see Lake of Fire), according to the National Abortion Federation. They have also been behind some 200 bombings and arsons, 72 attempted arsons, 750 death and bomb threats and hundreds of acts of vandalism, intimidation, stalking and burglary.

When was the last abortion bombing or doctor murder comitted by crazy Christians?
I know it's a side-track, but we can only wish that those people misusing the Koran were as violent and prevalent as the Christians you guys claim are running around being wild-eyed terrorists. The world would be a much safer place, wouldn't it?
Not really a good comparison to make your point, but that's just my opinion. You could do better.
Oh, hello again!
