PRSKY71 0 #1 March 9, 2006 I just saw this on the Today show this morning. It is a website for women to post information and pics on men who have cheated on them BUT there does not appear to be a limit on what is posted. Caveat, the cheater is contacted based on the information provided by the poster and is given an opportunity to refute the allegations and defend himself. OMG!!! This is soooo wrong on so many levels!! Whatever happened to acting like a grown up??? MAJOR violation of privacy rights and oh so many lawsuits will ensue!! Crazy!!! Anyone agree? P.S. dontdatehimgirl.com (I don't know how to make clicky)Character cannot be made except by a steady, long continued process. -- Phillips Brooks
briguy 0 #2 March 9, 2006 i think it's a great idea. i'm planning on putting my POS brother-in-law on there as soon as the divorce is final. best part is, i'm going to send him the link to it AND let him know I posted the info along with an invitation to "discuss" the posting. i can't wait to "speak" with him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Priceless!! Here is the clicky www.dontdatehimgirl.com Vale
SpeedRacer 1 #5 March 9, 2006 Is there one for men about women who cheat? Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------

mr2mk1g 10 #7 March 9, 2006 You better hope the site owners have a damn good defamation lawyer and very deep pockets. Looks like a great way to get into massive amount of debt to me.
PRSKY71 0 #8 March 9, 2006 Well, being a woman I can understand the pain that comes with being the victim of a cheater -- and really the pain is the same whether male / female. My concern is that there are many emotional issues that can lead to major revenge tendencies and basically LIES!! And there are no real and substantial checks and balances. Additionally, in my humble opinion the site makes us women just seem like petty, overemotional, and vengeful bitches!! I just don't dig that. The idea is just WRONG!! It is even located in the "land of litigation". SkyDekker 1,465 #14 March 10, 2006 what pisses me off about that website is that almost all the posts from women are anonymous, yet the men are described in full detail. Hardly seems fair, and I would assume will quickly lead to a libel lawsuit.
briguy 0 #15 March 10, 2006 Quote... will quickly lead to a libel lawsuit. i think you can only sue for libel (and win) if the statements are untrue. FUN PART - you can search by keywords.... try herpes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SkyDekker 1,465 #16 March 10, 2006 Quotei think you can only sue for libel (and win) if the statements are untrue. great, since the postings are anonymous, it should be relatively easy to prove they are not true. Specially since the website owners won't know.

Andy9o8 2 #18 March 10, 2006 Also: Win or lose, defamation lawsuits are very, very expensive to defend; they frequently aren't covered by insurance; and even if a defendant wins, the chances of recovering his legal fees from the plaintiff (in the US) are extremely slim. These website hosts are seriously playing with fire. Another thought: these posts may be anonymous to the rest of the world, but the guy can probably figure out who trashed him. I fear that some of these guys might retaliate back, and violently. This site really is a bad idea.
SkyDekker 1,465 #19 March 10, 2006 Quotejust because the name is not displayed does not mean it is not collected when the information is entered. granted, it might be a fake name..... exactly, which would make it extremely easy to post false information cause a guy dumped you. When posting information as such, it should at least be done with the full name attached to it. Withg a recent new law in the US, wouldn't this also be illegal? Wasn't there something with making anonymous postings that are annoying?
skydiver30960 0 #20 March 11, 2006 Hmm... eyeopening site. On a funnier note (funnier for me at least, maybe not funny for him) Kobe Bryant is listed on the site! Elvisio "there but for the grace of God go we all" Rodriguez
