as a minister, i must briefly comment on the topic of Christian's being persecuted, Yes it does happen, yes it can be painful, but by no means is it a license to be hostile towards those playing the role of the aggressor. Christ himself warned of this, he even said, "blessed are those who are persecuted because of me." A timeless statement, he meant God knows what you are going through and is thankful for it......he did not say, 'blessed are those who are persecuted because of me, and they make strike out at anyone who hurts their feelings.'
