Locked in a cell with Beegees on repeat, 24/7 for the rest of his life, that'll teach him.

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Place him in a box with only his head sticking out of the top. Force a tube into his throat so he can be force fed bacon and pork-chops (against his religion) and laxatives ( to make him shit all the time). Allow the box to gradually fill with his shit and piss until he is immersed in it and dies slowly from open sores and toxic shock. All the while he should be exposed to gratuitous pornography while the national anthem is blared over a loudspeaker repeatedly 24 hours a day (that will be the last think he will hear). I would be satisfied with that, however there are those who would accuse me of being extreme.

Cheers,

I guess westerners aren't such a peace-loving people, are they?

Personally, I think he should be turned over to the international war crimes tribunal, tried, and then serve whatever sentence is handed down, including death if that's what's handed down.

The only way to show that we hie to a higher standard is to actually do so.

yeah nothing screams justice like giving him a 20yr sentence huh?...with all the creature comforts too...

the most recent ones tried for crimes against humanity and genocide only got around 40yrs...

they have exercise, reading, religious worship, 3 meals a day, health, and dental, etc.[:/]

is that how you would avenge your countrymen or family?:S

We have a system to do the avenging. It's not up to me. Once it is, it's about revenge, and not justice.

If you torture someone, you get a momentary satisfaction, and you give your enemies and their friends fodder for months or years of martyrdom. Yes, if you're strong enough, you can overcome that; they're ants. But if you do it enough, the number of ants that you have to stomp gets to be too big, and they overwhelm you.

Wendy, I understand completely what you and Bill, are saying and I do understand the rule of law.

My point is that the international courts, and our courts virtually have no teeth whatsoever in some instances, and therefore we are at the the whim of a judge or jury who may feel that no punishment is just, and therefore refuse to do so.

Some subhumans do not care what we do to them in court.

they get their stage from which to preach endlessly and further their cause.

I am not ignorant of what is legally required by the justice system.

But I maintain there are times that all that is due a viscous criminal of this stature is death itself.

>they get their stage from which to preach endlessly and further their cause.

That's fine. Let em preach. The important part is that they are not running terrorist organizations any more. Punishment is to deter common criminals - but simply doesn't work for leaders of countries or leaders of worldwide organizations. (You think Rumsfeld, Talabani or Abbas thinks "I better not approve of torture, or I might get charged with a war crime" ?)

Hatred is a bad emotion to base your actions on. Some people are deserving of hatred - but if we express it the same way they do we are no better than them.
