And by god, Harry was in the line of fire and got peppered pretty good.'' Hey, he WAS in the LINE of FIRE. That should relieve Chaney from any responsibilty. After all the guy was between him and the bird."...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." tbrown 26 #8 February 12, 2006 Nice going Dick ! The dumbass was tracking a bird and failed to notice his friend was in the line of fire. His office made no anouncement for over 24 hrs either, probably tried to suppress it under some national security clause is my guess. Some of the other excuses offered were that the guy was behind them and made no sounds (what's he supposed to do, shouting jumping jacks ? Doesn't thhat scare away the birds ?), also that the VP has a lot of medical staff in his entourage anyway, so that makes it alright I guess. At least he shot a Texas fucking Republican. About time one of THEM got a tast of friendly fire. Your humble servant.....Professor Gravity !
warpedskydiver 0 #9 February 12, 2006 was the guy on line or staggering around aimlessly? was the guy shot wearing orange? was he doing something that warranted shooting his ass? I would have to be there to actually know what happened but I bet there are some of you that may know without actually having been a witness this is the same as jumpers knowing what happened in a jump gone wrong without being there and actually SEEING the event in question I am not absolving anyone I am just not clairvoyant like the others

SpeedRacer 1 #11 February 12, 2006 Quotewas he doing something that warranted shooting his ass? Dick Cheney was supposed to shoot the quail. Possibly the man he shot was in some way giving aid & support to quails, however, so he had it coming. jumperboy357 0 #15 February 12, 2006 Great! Now there's more ammo for the liberal anti gunners. Obviously Cheney doesn't practice gun control. My idea of gun control is being able to hit what your aiming at. I also emphatically agree with your thoughts about Kennedy.

warpedskydiver 0 #21 February 13, 2006 Whittington shot a bird and went to retrieve it in the tall grass, while Cheney and the third hunter walked to another spot and discovered a second covey. Whittington "came up from behind the vice president and the other hunter and didn't signal them or indicate to them or announce himself," Armstrong said. like I said before get all the facts and then open your mouth...looks like both of them were at fault
