I do not pretend that the history of christians and jews is not worthy of criticism, but that is not suppressed the way that muslims would like their history to be. Remember the bounty put on the head of the author of Satanic Verses? How much more obvious can the answer to my question get?

Well, your error is in thinking that non-muslims are not supposed to be bound by the religious laws that bind muslims.

See, if islam says muslims can't lampoon mohammed, it doesn't mean "just muslims." It means "the whole frickin' world."

So for the same reason, even those whose religions don't forbid them to eat pork, we are all forbidden to eat pork. I know it sucks, but we'll get used to it...

Quite right, the western world should not be gentle to the Islamic faith just because it will offend muslims. That is exactly what is happening to a large degree. Other religions do not get such gentle treatment, and muslims should have to endure it also.

Look at the way news media lampoon Catholicism, and rip deep into it because of things like molester-priests etc. They shred the Catholic church.

If the head of the Catholic Church ( the Holy Pontif/ Pope) were to say to all Catholics that we should now go on a crusade to wipeout all Muslims what do you think the response would be? Answer is? FUCK YOU!!!

If some Muslim Clerics call for Jihad what is done?...the answer is...they all seem to think it is their duty...some that don't agree wholeheartedly may not do jihad themselves but they certainly support it. If they did not they would be so outraged that they would put a stop to these calls for jihad in any way possible.
