NWFlyer 2 #2 February 1, 2006 Yes, it does. I'm fortunate to have many people in my life who have it. Or, perhaps it's because I've chosen to surround myself with people who have it."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

Strangely enough, the most principled people with true integrity I’ve met anywhere are lawyers who treat their profession with reverance. They live by their creed more closely than many medical doctors and business people who I’ve known, and their word is iron-clad even when it disadvantages them. Not enough of ‘em to go around, admittedly, but I like having them in my circle. Blutarsky 2008. No Prisoners!

And that ain't no accident. Or, as I've said to a few of my friends when the topic comes up and someone says "We're so lucky to have met," my reply is always that it is no accident. We seek out healthy relationships. To all my friends - it is no accident that we have found each other and that we are friends. I could have stopped at the one sentence. Sometimes I am a very windy person." . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley

Not enough of ‘em to go around, admittedly, but I like having them in my circle. I work for a firm that has about 10 like that...and another who probably isn't. But I worked for one who was stealing, and when I turned him in, there wasn't a lawyer anywhere who wanted to hire me. So I agree there are some, but I think their distribution probably matches that of the rest of the population. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from.
