sundevil777 102 #26 February 2, 2006 QuoteWas that really a helicopter? I can't believe how steady those pictures were. No, I don't think it was a helicopter. The title of the thread says helicopter, but the text of the post says "AC-130 gunship provided the fire (C-130 hercules gun platform)". This matches with my memory of the incident when it happened. Not that it couldn't have been done by a helicopter, but I don't think it was.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Even claiming Racial PURITY...that... is just fucked up... Just reading your post pains my neck. Why all the bitterness. By the way with reference to the post, 3 good kills, need more of em. mr2mk1g 10 #33 February 2, 2006 I saw this video several years ago. The first time I saw it, it was said to have been made during the intervention in Kosovo! I have subsequently seen it stated that it was from Afganistan. I have no idea which is correct. I've also subsequently seen it with people saying it's from Iraq, but I know that's crap because I saw it way before we went in there this time round. warpedskydiver 0 #34 February 2, 2006 Strange that skydivers being the aviation minded people they are cannot determine that a fixed POV from a fixed wing AC is nearly impossible (AV-8B Harrier unlikey) the HUD is that of an Apache. This video footage was circulated around MILNET 2 years or more earlier (didn't say when it was made) in regards to the 30mm chainguns effectiveness as for that object being thrown it was an RPG and they were pacing off the effective range as the RPG has the ballistics of a frisbee BTW that wasn't Kosovo the video is that of an arid region which can be seen as the dust that was like talc was being kicked up and illuminated. BUT I am sure there are those who would disagree.
juanesky 0 #35 February 2, 2006 Bwahahaha, you cracked me up. I have been there, and will be there again shortly. As far as time spent and my service record is definitely something that is of concern between me the US government, and those appointed over and under me. I will go public, if I ever decide to run for an elected position but for the time being, suffice to let you know that I'm on a MP unit, and I don't have qualms to be put on harms way, and I do act on what I preach. And Botellines, you seem in need a geographical lesson, as the American continent includes Venezuela, and to top it off, I have been a US citizen for a little less than a year."According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon

Regardless, assuming that you meant North and South, just belonging to either one, would make you american. Maybe you should lighten up. In The US, we use the 7 continent model so I made the crack because you are now a citizen of the US.Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. Darius11 12 #39 February 2, 2006 I don’t see why any one would say HOORAH or show joy over someone’s death. No matter what country they are from. However it is extremely hypocritical to show joy when Iraqis get splattered but get all pissy when US soldiers get killed in Iraq. We are the invaders in Iraq unfortunately no matter how patriotic you are or how much you love this country that is the fact. The questions are simple who has more of a right to be there? Who has more right to kill for Iraq the US troops or the Iraqis? Too often people for get the facts because of their love and loyalty. Witch I will admit is admirable. However no matter how honorable your intention might be it still should not cloud the facts. If we were fighting an invader or a country that had wronged us like we are in Afghanistan I bet you there would be no or very little sympathy for anyone but our troops. This is not the case in Iraq. I wish all of them a safe return. I also hope we do not forget the thousands who have come back home with life changing injuries. I wish this war had never happened. The war supporters have a lot to answer for.I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Well 1st we don’t really hear about Palestinians getting murdered much in our media. 2nd The Palestinians haven’t done anything to us why would we celebrate. And finally if we did choose to celebrate the horrible things that happen to Palestinians we would be dancing in the streets every day.I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

You do remember all the people in Iraq that did greet the US troops as liberators, right? You do remember them smacking the likeness of SH with their shoes, pulling his statue down, right? The bomb setters would continue to set their bombs against the new Iraqi government forces even if every US soldier left today. To pretend it is all about the US as invaders is a diversion from the real challenges there. I think the biggest challenge is for the religious leaders to have the courage to advocate peace with non-muslims and to prevent corruption and organized crime/mafia style power struggles that prevent real freedom and a free market economy.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired.
