crotalus01 0 #27 January 30, 2006 spanking is perfectly acceptable IMO. beating is not. the difference is between pain and injury. pain teaches valuable lessons. as long as the spanking is contained to the back of the upper thighs/buttocks and doesnt leave lasting damage (welts are okay IMO, bruising is suspect). having said that, i got my ass blistered many times as a kid. i learned to stop doing whatever it was that resulted in said pain. and i wouldnt go back and change any of it.
