lawrocket 3 #27 January 13, 2006 Quote Why do people respect someone who fucked up and became an addict and cleaned their act up more than someone who has never fucked up/fucked over their families & friends because of their selfish addiction? Because that's what we as caring people do. A person who hasn't fucked up was obviously raised by wealthy parents and had all they needed. A person who hasn't fucked up has no idea about what real struggle is. Someone who is a shining light of virtue and success obviously should not be congratulated. In fact, such persons should be viewed with ridicule, unless such person works and acts to openly appreciate others who do not have it as good, for that person's success was the cause of the suffering of countless others. Still, it must be noted that those who have fucked up and then became a success probably became successful by selling out. Really, would a person who quit drinking, smoking, doing drugs, committing robberies, etc., really be true to him or herself? Wouldn't that act only be doing what a racist, sexist, classist society would want him to do- to be a robot? Obviously, society has caused that person to do those things in the first place, and for the person to clean up his or her act would require that the person conform to the racist, sexist and classist ideals of society, thus spreading the misery to everyone else. I think those people are the worst of the worst, even below those people whose ignorance led them to live a "solid life." On the other hands, those who society considers to be "wretched" are our true heroes. They live life on their terms, and that should be appreciated by all. Sometimes, they can make a lot fo money and have a lot of power. Still, when they do things their way, society tries to put them down by jail or otherwise. Look at what happened to Tookie Williams, whose nobility was tarnished by his efforts after arrest and brainwashing, that even resulted in that Sell-Out gettign nominated for a Nobel Peace prize a few times. Those whom you call fuck-ups come from your own nationalistic ideology. in fact, it is that ideology that caused them to do the drugs, robberies and other things. How would you feel if you were called a fuckup for doing drugs. You'd do more drugs because you felt bad. instead, you should send them money and support so they can live their lives on their own terms. My wife is hotter than your wife. unformed 0 #28 January 13, 2006 That was good. Precisely why you [collective, not you personally] should stop judging others and just live your own fucking life. You'll be a better person for it.This ad space for sale.
rehmwa 2 #29 January 13, 2006 QuoteWhat would you say for someone who has never had a drink his entire life? Is he more mature because he never committed a health risk? It depends on his reasoning. In many scenarios, the answer is yes. ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants
