Who is really behind President Bush's speeches?

Recommended Posts

Hmmm... I'd heard a rumour that it was The Disney Corporation!:o

AS that incisive political commentator Robin Williams once said: Reagan was disney's dying wish: "MAKE A PRESIDENT!"

Now, Reagan was programmed with "Presimatronic Speech"(tm) Version 1.1. This was quite slow, causing a lot of silences & staring vacantly into space while the next soundfile was being built. Despite attempts to speed the program up, this proved impossible. Therefore, a "Random-homily-sub-routine" was introduced in V 1.4. This allowed any silence beyond a preset length to be filled with pre-programmed soundfiles such as "Bomb The Russkies." "AIDS Sufferers deserve to Die." and similar.

Now. Despite these particular sound files being intended only as humourous tests of the program, it was soon found that these sound files were the American People's favourites!

By Clinton, we had "Presimatronic Speech"(tm) V 2.0. This version cured that delay problem, but there were REAL difficulties with the positive/negative interface. Thus, we had soundfiles like: "We did NOT buy land illegally!" "I did NOT have sex with That Woman!" Despite Disney's best efforts there was no cure for this programming flaw.

Because of this, Dubya has been fitted with "Presimatronic Speech XP"(tm) which is basically Reagan's Version 1.4 with the Random-Homily-sub-routine expanded to fill the entire program. OK, this version's speech soundfiles frequently don't make sense, but that doesn't matter since it turns out that over 50% of American Voters don't notice!:)

I never watch TV so I do not get to hear the Prez very often, but a few weeks ago I was at the gym and he was giving a speech and I could not believe my ears! It was so freakin bad! They guy should join Toastmasters and learn a thing or two before speaking in public ever again!:)
Reagan, on the other hand, was the best ever! The "Challenger Speech" at NASA was perfect!:)

"Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance,
others mean and rueful of the western dream"
