lawrocket 3 #2 December 9, 2005 I knew Sam Nunn. Sam Nunn was a friend of mine. Joe Lieberman, you're no Sam Nunn. My wife is hotter than your wife.

Muenkel 0 #4 December 9, 2005 In a statement today, Rumsfeld claims he is not retiring. As a political conservative, I am all for Lieberman as Sec. of Defense. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

Leiberman as a replacement, no... he can do more good where he is, even if he is in the wrong party. GTAVercetti 0 #8 December 9, 2005 While I don't know if this would be the best idea, I would LOVE to see opposition party members in the cabinet...of any president. Just look at Lincoln's. The man put all his political ENEMIES in his and then worked with them. And to those who say wrong party...there is no requirement that a cabinet member of an adminstration be of the same party. Or maybe you meant wrong party as in the Democratic party sucks? Well, I concur, but the Republicans are not proving much better. Maybe if we mix em all up, something MIGHT happen. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Best case, they come in contact and cancel each other out - thus releasing loads of useful energy that we can harness for our own personal use. . . . Worst case, they recognize both sides are wasting their time on subjective social platforms and join on their fiscal commonality. The Dempublicrats - your TAX and BORROW party of the future. labrys 0 #11 December 10, 2005 QuoteThe Dempublicrats - your TAX and BORROW party of the future. That's awesome.... I think that Lieberman is a Republican in everything but name, honestly. He isn't going to shake things up very much and with all the back-patting he's been doing of late he certainly isn't an "enemy" of the President. Best of all, if they pull him out of the Senate, the Republican Governor of CT can name a replacement who's a "real" Republican... increasing the odds that a Republican incumbant can hold the position during the elections.Owned by Remi #?
