ReBirth 0 #2 December 3, 2005 I don't follow college ball at all, but I bet $50 on Navy just based on the view of a couple battle ships coming up the river the other morning for the game. They're at dock 10 blocks from my place. The size of the guns are amazing up close. Easy to imagine them hurling a couple thousand pound shells 20 miles or so. labrys 0 #3 December 3, 2005 That's one of the things I miss about the Navy. There was something special about walking down the pier on the way to my ship (not awe inspiring at ALL to work on a tender) and passing the cruisers and destroyers and battleships (yup, been a while).Owned by Remi #? matt91078 0 #4 December 4, 2005 The trophy was actually found at Navy in a storage room the day after they reported it missing. No real connection to the USMA exchange cadets was found, other than some faked computer printed note saying it was gone. Who really is going to run across Annapolis with a 170 pound very large trophy to some waiting vehicle? Not me for sure.
