Perhaps, even more amusing is the rebuttal, which offers DARPA funding as evidence of govt collusion on the part of the MIT authors (http://zapatopi.net/blog/?post=200511112730.afdb_effectiveness), thereby calling into question both their methodology and conclusions.

I crumpled mine up and disposed of it in a trash can far away from my residence . . .

Thanks for that, I got in trouble for not separating my tin from my regular trash.:S

Along with the research on the aluminum foil helmets, correlatively, I think an extensive analysis of the government plot to enhance the promotion and development of the ubiquitous, Rabbit's Foot for Good Luck device, is also ripe for a research grant. Recent insiders report that other insiders along with their insiders and staffers of their staffers detect research on an improved prototype of this device! A magnum model! The implications are staggering. The government is interested in lessening the impact of Medicaid payments to private health care providers. These affected providers would naturally oppose such complex and effective technological devices, because there would be fewer patients. Thus, a private industry counter-plot looms.

Minimum shielding is 8 sheets of Velostat 6 mils thick or 12 sheets of Velostat 4 mils thick Some abductees report success with helmets using only 5 sheets of Velostat but 8 sheets are recommended as the aliens transmit a tremendous amount of energy. Use more sheets if you can get them in the hat.
