Thanks, but that fair.org study only covered Brit Hume's afternoon show from 4-5 years ago, not all of FOX, and nothing recent. Got anything newer?

I watch his show occasionally, so I know it's a news analysis program with a "panel" usually consisting of three people, one right, one central, and one left (along with himself - right). Everybody gets a chance to sing, and Hume doesn't talk over the lefties as do Hannity or O'Reilly. ;)

So its such a fringe group that quite a few of the current administration have attended thier fund raisers and given speeches to them. When you say things like how oppressed the white man is.. its right out of thier playbook. Are we not to believe what you say now?

Look at the graph.
Olive line at the bottom are blacks Purple line is Hispanic
White Non Hispanic is the red line.( Did I mention I like RED)

Nothing in your post has anything to do with what I've said, or what I believe.

Further: I've stated several times on these very forums my support for AA, even though it IS a form of racism.

The reason I've supported AA is because it is the ONLY way to break the good 'ole boy network that previously had a death grip on opportunity. AA was need, is still needed, but hopefully won't be needed forever.

I see your point, but that just leads us back to the question of why FOX news is popular. I think part of the answer to that question is because they are more accurate. Obviously, you don't. :P



No, its because they are flashier. Flashier, slicker, and quicker will win in todays world.

As for this popularity thing, you followed comments about O' Reilly's popularity with statements of how he is number one and so is Fox as some sort of argument for how accurate they are (and you can deny it all you want, but it is what you said). Which I followed with the statement, "if something is popular, it does not mean it is correct."

Do you actually believe that something can only become popular because it is correct and BETTER than other things? No wait, you do; that is what the post I am replying to says.

If O' Reilly was not slamming his guests or claiming "No Spin" over everyone but himself in a loud and angry voice, do you think he would be number one? Doubtful. His viewers (and most of the viewers of today's OTHER pundit shows) like flashy attitude and angry talking points. It has very little to do with validity nd everything to do with style. Some truth certainly does keep it from dying, but without the flash, The factor would have died years ago.

In other areas, I actually do like watching Brit Hume. Fun fact: He comes and has coffee all the time in my friend's shop.

I don't think you are a fanatic, I think you just lost sight (as others have done in different eras) of what freedom really is and what has made this country great. I'm here to remind you and help you back from your poorly chosen path.
