In any case, people always refer to the French being politically correct America-hating a-holes but keep in mind that they were the ones who passed a law banning religious dress in schools.

The french don't have guns. I'm bettin that if there were as many guns in France (in private hands) as there are in LA alone, there would be a few more dead.
Not that I'm against guns. I'm thinking a few dead roiters might be a good thing at this point. There are better ways to protest than burning schools and cars.

Where on earth did you hear that? The US has pretty much a monopoly on PC stupitidy. The French are always referred to as 'the french' - as this explains everything very simply without any room for confusion.
They do hate America......but not in any way different than their hatred of the UK, or actually any other country, society or independent gathering of other human beings.
On the positive side: all french women have great butts. You can buy beer at 8am from a coffee shop, the food is awesome.

I think it means man in general tend to be violent, often times for stupid reasons. But if you ever spend some time in morning traffic here in Houston, you might think women tend to be more violent, or somewhat impatient.

I was focusing on the issue -- particularly on the sheer ridiculousness of Channman's post. Sometimes it's easier to understand when presented with something equally ridiculous (10 pts. to anyone who can name the term) regarding something that hits closer to home than it is to have it thoroughly and loquaciously explained in viciously verbose detail.

Unlikely. As (some) muslims integrate French society, they tend to lose their "muslim" identity. Much like 2nd and 3rd generation Latinos in California are now more American than Mexican/Nicaraguan, etc... It does however create a certain evolution in the notion of French identity, but I, for one, tend to see this as a good thing in the long term.
