Here's a similar story of a how a conservative black candidate has been getting pelted with oreo cookies for being "white on the inside":

The part of this that bothers me the worst is the fact that if something similar to this happened in the Republican side it would be the top story on ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,NPR,and Muppets news.

Let me see.. oh yeah.... both are HUGE supportes of the RePUBICans. Many of Pat Robertson's "Christian" beliefs have nothing to do with the Bible or Christian anything. If we are to believe the teachings of Jesus, the Christian Right often runs counter to it. They alienate many moderate and liberal Christians. These Pat Robertson types worship an abstract idol in Paul's Gnostic Christ, not the Jesus of the Galilee.

well:

1 - Jeanne feels better and we can all get behind that
2 - A whole bunch of people will likely list wierdo extreme Democrats to provide perspective/balance and them accuse the entire Democratic party as being exactly represented by the splinter group listed, so we can generate a list of both party's nut jobs in a relatively short time. That's useful.
3 - At that point, a few of the wackier types here, will try to add more centrist people to the extreme list on either end, thus we'll know which posters are way out anyway. That's useful
4 - Somewhere in here, Billvon will post a non-sequitor that he's been stressing on that is fairly interesting. It won't last long, but someone will mock it. A couple others will just kiss up to him, but they are same ones each time (it's not grade school people and he's not the teacher - just a decent guy with some opinions and cool stuff in the garage)
5 - JohnRich will want to go hunting for impact corpses because "it's just the right thing to do"
6 - Arbitrary numbers will come up
7 - Someone from someplace will make a generic bash against another country to make themselves feel superior
8 - Someone will insist on arbitrary numbers
9 - Abortion will not be broached, because we are all too classy to go there again.

But, Mainly, Jeanne will feel better. I think we can all get behind that, because she does seem like a sweetheart.
