I just wanted to add that I think the number as referenced above is over 100,000,000. Some here my think we should give communism, fascism one more chance.
You might be interested in knowing that communism is a form of economy, not a form of government. Comparing it to fascism is like comparing a car and a tree.

But, both a car and a tree have doors.
Or is that sunroofs?

a form of economy that can't exist without the government owning it and driving it. So call it a car and a Yugo. Pretending it isn't a government is ducking the issue.

You're aware Marx believed in no government, right?
You can have freedom in a socialist economy. You can have tyranny in a socialist economy. You can have freedom in a capitalist economy. You can have tyranny in a capitalist economy.
While one does in fact effect the other in pretty much any situation, it is not a good and bad polarity, nor is it a freedom or tyranny polarity. Both systems have strengths and weaknesses.
If we are going to debate them, we should at least rely on ingenuous arguments.
You are aware that Bush admitted there was no direct connection between Iraq and the 9/11 attacks right?
clicky
See Chris, this is why it's pointless to present facts. You ask for a credible link and I give you one. Then instead of disputing the facts, you fall back onto the same old lefty liberal mantra of "Bush Lied". Well you know what? My dad lied to me, so did my mom, so did my teachers and many of the people I have worked for. So did many of my customers. But you know what Chris? They probably had their reason. So perhaps Bush said there was no connection for political reasons. Sometime politicians do that, you know.
Now please respond the the facts I presented or admit there might be a connection.
Sorry...but if you tell me you have a check for me for $1,000,000, only catch is, it's the life insurance policy from my spouses death, I'm not going to be dancing in the street. It's the same thing. I may not be able to find anyone opposed to the war singing about the good things. Maybe that's because they are so overshadowed by the bad.
Are you suggesting liberals are the only ones who don't like the growing body count?
Nope...I'm saying conservatives are responsible for it.
and it could also be said that the liberals are encouraging Al Qaeda with the whining about pulling out and hoping the terrorist will forgive us and leave us alone.
I am not saying Saddam wasn't a horrible person, he was! I am saying that if you make that arguement then we need to head over to countless other countries where the very same situation still exists. I myself signed on the dotted line to protect Americans. Not Iraqis. I hate that they were forced to live in horrible conditions, while their leader lived a life of luxury. But hey rebel if it's that bad. We did the very same thing 230 years ago and it worked out pretty well! Who helped us? France....sort of?
So unless you can prove that we are hear protecting America.....then shut the hell up. Because I really don't feel like widowing a 23 year old wife, and leaving her to raise our 3 and 4 year old children by herself to bring democracy to Iraq or any other country for that matter. They want it, go and get it themselvs!
Now, Iraq and Saddam make an attack on the U.S., it's time to bring down the might of the U.S. military! And I would have been one of the first to volunteer to come over here and kick some ass! Like the whole reason I joined the military anyway. 9/11 really pissed me off. I was hoping to serve my country and help rid it of the likes of Bin Laden. But somehow have now been to Iraq twice (which will total to two years of my life) for a reason and cause that I don't really give a damn about. I'll follow every order given because thats my job and I did take an oath. I take that very seriously.....however I very much look forward to Jun. 2007 when I am back to being a civilian after 6 years. I will be joining ranks with any political group that will have me, to help and end this nightmare that is Iraq.
