I've never criticized the statement that a Texas cop and a DA prosecuted an adult store clerk. That is indeed a fact. (Oh, and by the way, a jury found the clerk innocent.)

What I am criticizing is the gross stereotyping that is going on by several people as a result of this. I would think that this would be a slam-dunk issue that everyone would agree is wrong. Yet, to my amazement, many people seem to think that it is perfectly acceptable behavior to denigrate an entire group of people, for the actions of just a few.
