I'm still leaning toward Pagan...I don't recall reading anywhere that Heathens pray to weather gods.

Pagan:
1 : a follower of a polytheistic religion (as in ancient Rome)
2 : one who has little or no religion and who delights in sensual pleasures and material goods : an irreligious or hedonistic person

Heathen:
1 : an unconverted member of a people or nation that does not acknowledge the God of the Bible
2 : an uncivilized or irreligious person

i'm a pagan and i stick my finger in my mouth anytime it bleeds, i'm a carpenter, so it happens frequently. sometimes i use it to energize the runes that i keep on all my tools as identifying marks. i suppose that actually either definition might fit if you stretch it....

By Pagan, I mean hedonistic, and at times polytheistic (Depending on meteorological conditions)

By Heathen, she definitely means irreligious; uncivilized.

I've often wondered exactly what term would be best to describe myself. I've gone through Christian, Agnostic, Taoist, Nihilist, etc. But, given my ability to be quite, umm...abrasive, I am currently going by the title of Asshole. I'm hoping that these next few years will show some development towards a Somewhat Tolerable Curmudgeon.
