Trae 1 #1 September 17, 2005 You poms sobered up over there yet ??? How excellent to see those ozzie show ponies get their come-upance. Without their fast bowlers that Oz team would be next to nothing. A lot of people are VERY sick of their bad behaviour off field as well.... they're not really good role models for the little ones. Once again ----------good on you Pommies ..hope you continue the flogging next time too until some real sportsman get back in the team. Cheers ....smilin'
 TVPB 0 #2 September 17, 2005 It has been a long 16 years or so, hasn't it!!! Well done, the South Africans - oops, I meant Poms deserved to win this time. Flogging????????? I guess the winners write the story... Fast bowlers?? Didn't a spinner get most of the wickets! And the batsmen have been dominant for a long while too. Seriously , its nice to see competition instead of just decades of domination. It really was boring winning for so long. The Poms have lots to be happy about over the last two years - Rugby, Cricket, Womens Cricket, etc. Now for the Commonwealth Games - they should surprise us with their own Thorpie if the current sporting trend continues. Stay Safe - Have Fun - Good Luck The above could be crap, thought provoking, useful, or . . But not personal. You decide. Well, without 1 spinner (40 wickets!) and 1 fast bowler then their attack is pretty ordinary. Kasprowicz and Gillespie were made to look like donkeys, Tait's too raw and Lee's too expensive. Their batting has a lot more depth to it IMO, its just that the current England attack is fucking superb. As far as off field exploits, well I know Warne has made a fair few mistakes, but on the cricket pitch he is the best role model any sportsman could have. An amazing bowler who will never roll over and accept a losing situation (batting at Edgbaston for example) and he has a huge amount of cricket knowledge. Its a damn good feeling to have the ashes back but I don't expect the Ozzies to start losing every test series now. I do expect England to keep winning though.Do you want to have an ideagasm? Australia played very well though, especially warne, and im annoyed Flintoff got the man of the season. Warne deserved it. Being a "pommie" im still glad to say its about time england won!!!! There's a lot of ozzies don't want him back as the kids now think it's cool to cheat on your wife with every stray cat in the bowling alley. that just leaves our fast bowlers.... ...now that batsmen wear helmets it looks a bit sissy.
