I bet you've yet to meet a terrorist too. Presumably that means they don't exist either. Whatever dude. I'll be meeting plenty of them soon enough (and killing them too) when I go to Iraq.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Okay, let me put my comment in proper context for the "hard-of-hearing-or-reading": I've yet to actually meet anyone, in person, who has had their rights trampled on, in any way, as a direct result of the passage of the Patriot Act. I'm not saying such events do not occur, but I am saying it is not a rampant problem plaguing the everyday lives of Joe-Shmoe in Anytown, USA. While the system is likely the cause of this problem, I do not believe it is systemic across the board. It can be fixed. I could give a f*ck about someone being busted for drugs. They're illegal and people die from them directly and indirectly. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
