dropoutdave 0 #28 August 16, 2005 It's quite embarrasing England being allies with America, we're like the nerdy kid follwing around the bully. America are like the bully of the world, going up to countries and saying "give us your sweets or i'll smash your face in" and then England peer round from behind shaking it's fist saying "yeeeeah". Oh yeah, that and a mutual love of agression. ------------------------------------------------------ May Contain Nut traces......

Mike111 0 #34 August 16, 2005 Fair rnough. If you were the PM, what stance would you take to America then, ignore the war and not take part or help in another way?
rehmwa 2 #35 August 16, 2005 Wow, a lot of Britain bashing now. A couple countries with a lot of history, mutual support and respect, full of decent people with similar cultures and backgrounds. Funny, why would that result in friendship and alliance in today's world. ... Mike111 0 #36 August 16, 2005 Good reasons - state the obvious! There are other reasons you know, and i think you are slightly wrong - As you can see above, some UK people do not like the alliance with America, and I know a people who can't understand the American view of themselves and view Americans with sceptism. I think that is totally wrong. I think most Americans are fantastic and one of the best civilisations on the planet, and yes i do really liek Americans, But if you wanna be sarcastic then go right ahead. I will still treat you with respect whether you believe this is a dumb questino or not.Anyway, thankyou for your views.
Skyrad 0 #37 August 18, 2005 Yea, trade great... Like that thanks we got for helping out in Iraq, of all the reconstruction contracts US firms got them all, except one token one that us Brits got........To repair Bagdads sewer system.
