If that was my kid I'd likely be jailed for assaulting the coach with a baseball bat. Unbelievable.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
Anvilbrother 0 #2 July 16, 2005 I have a boss that is a little league coach, and the rumor is that at games and practice he yells at them enough to make them cry. All the parents want to kick his ass. I dont blame them Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. sundevil777 102 #3 July 16, 2005 Every T-ball league I've encountered had all the players on the field (not just nine), every player batted every inning (nobody was ever called out for real), and didn't formally keep score. Of course my kid's teams obviously won/kicked ass, and we came real close to turning double plays. I'd like to believe this news story is somehow mistaken, but I realize it probably is. My guys are now in leagues where the pitchers can be called for balks, the runners can actually take leads and steal, etc. What might this guy do when it gets this competitive? I liked the South Park episode where the dad looked forward to getting drunk and fighting with another dad. When they went to the state championship, he said, "This is going to be the biggest fight of my life". People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
chutem 0 #4 July 16, 2005 Almost be worth the trip to Pittsburgh to kick this morons ass. Anybody who makes life tuff on a dissabled child is about as low as they come. This ass inflicted needless pain on a child with limited ability in order to win at T-ball. I think he should feel the pain of a severe beating, maybe if he ends up with some jail time the "boys" will take care of it. James
airtwardo 7 #5 July 16, 2005 This ass inflicted needless pain on a child with limited ability in order to win at T-ball. *** Take the ball that was used to assualt the child, and mount it with a pic of this jerk and display it all over town. But.... Why bother to kick his ass... You statement above says it all, the worse possible punishment in the world for him...is to BE him! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~

waltappel 1 #7 July 18, 2005 Ok, this is twisted humor, but it made me laugh! I sent a link to an article about the incident to a friend. Here is the text of his reply: i'd do the samething. it's all about winning. and if the retard will retard your teams chances, one of your players has to step up and do the right thing. the only disturbing thing about the story is coach had to "remind" the kids what the game is all about - winning - by offering the 25 bucks. if the team was really a "team" and focused on what's important, they would have done this as a team without coach having to cough up 25 bucks. all in all, the children are learing. Please no flames--he was only kidding! Walt
StreetScooby 5 #8 July 20, 2005 I wouldn't blame you. But, there's got to be a more effective way to deal with someone like this (...and I'm not talking about calling the cops). Any ideas? We are all engines of karma
Casurf1978 0 #9 July 20, 2005 Ok I know you said no cops, but if I was the arresting officer I would tell one or two inmates that he assaulted a disabled kid before throwing him in jail with the rest of the general population. Still, this guy is a poor excuse for a human being. I feel sorry for his two girls. Makes you wonder what type of parent he might be.
hungarianchick 0 #10 July 21, 2005 As a person working with children and adults with disabilities for a good part of my life I'm outraged and disgusted. This guy should never be allowed to work with kids main stream or disabled, ever again. Period. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
