They really are making fools of themselves though. From all of their rhetoric one would think they believe that GWB will be running again. It makes no sense - especially when you look at the facts surrounding Rove's involvement. Then again, facts have never gotten in the way of the Dims making a case before... They have no proposals acceptable to the American public as to how they would do anything differently starting with Social Security reform (raise taxes), fighting terrorism(pull troops out of Iraq), etc. They still fail to realize that the continuing bickering and personal attacks against Bush and the Republican leadership makes them look petty in the eyes of most Americans. I think part of this is due to the fact that Republicans are out raising them by 2 to 1 in campaign contributions and the wacko wing of the Democratic Party thinks they can play to the nutty part of their base right now. Heck visit Moveon.Org and take a look at what they are trying to raise money for. My guess is they will tone it down a little by next year when Queen Hillary begins her moves for her Presidential Run and as we all know, many Dems have very short memories. Should they keep going down that route I don't see them having a snowball's chance in hell of winning the Presidency in '08, which is just fine by me. lawrocket 3 #10 July 15, 2005 Vinnie: I've got another thought for why this bill is there - the Dems may know more about this than the rest of us do, and may have figured out that Karl Rove actually broke no law. Perhaps there is no law that forbids or even punishes Karl Rove for what he did, if anything. So, there are some people saying, "There oughtta be a law."
