SpeedRacer 1 #3 July 14, 2005 I'm not a big fan of the current administration, or the invasion of Iraq. But there are some here who, although I agree with them on the above topics, I disagree with them when they descend into the limp-wristed moral relativism as described in the article. wmw999 2,600 #4 July 14, 2005 That is an interesting article. Points out some "don't wanna head there" kind of stuff, and identifies at least one slippery slope. thanks for posting it. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. mr2mk1g 10 #5 July 14, 2005 Just wanted to point out that this paragraph: QuoteThe BBC now refuses to refer to the London terrorists as "terrorists." They are to be known by the more neutral term "bombers," lest the public be deceived by "the careless use of words which carry emotional or value judgments." Value judgments about blowing up innocent commuters? How gauche! Is entirely wrong. The BBC used the term "terrorists" maybe a dozen times during my drive home this evening. A check of their website will show they're using it regularly.
