Which posters support AQ?

Well there is a clearly identifiable group of posters here that, although they won't come right out and say that they support Al Queda, will spin every single relevant issue on the matter to blame the U.S. They even go so far as to say if we (Americans) were in their place, we would act the same, which we all know is total bogus. So when somebody is willing to make false statements to defend a group, its logical to assume that they are on that group's side and therefore believe they can justify that group's actions.

White, meet black. Black, meet white.

No, there is, in fact, no space whatsoever between the two of you.

And the best part is that every single person has their own black, and their own white.

Enjoy.

‘No regard for innocent, human life’

In Washington, White House press secretary Scott McClellan strongly condemned the bombing, saying it showed insurgents “have no regard for innocent, human life whether it’s men, women or children.”

I am no AQ supporter, but i am not U.S supporter neither, so if this is the old "with me or against me" bullshit, i am not playing.

I will support whoever of you guy who puts aside religion/money in favor of human lifes.

I think there is extremist even on here.
There are people on here that will blindly support the actions of our military and government no matter what, and there are people who will always point the finger and say we are murderers no matter what.

Somewhere in the middle we find the truth.

Edit to add this.

We don’t have to agree, but if we try we can see where the people we do not agree with are coming from.
I know it has happened to me a few times. I might not agree with John or Ron on some issues but sometimes I can see where they are coming from. Doesn’t mean we will agree but it is one step closer to understanding.

Agreed.
That’s why any anger about the war or policies should be directed at the policy makers and the government officials and not the troops who put them self in harms way.

Off course when the issue of committing a war crime, torture, or cold-blooded murder comes up. We should prosecute and make sure justice is served. Why let a few bad apples make every one who is working so hard look bad.

We should also make sure those that aren't there in the fight don't criticize the troops doing the work based off of what they see on cnn.

Yes agreed it is hard to see what someone is going threw when they are being shot at and seeing your buddies killed daily.

But how do we know the facts, and what facts to trust?

I don't think the only people allowed to comment should be the soldiers in that situation do you?

Wouldn't CNN try to make the US look better then another countries News?

The first thing we need to do in a time of war is shoot the reporter so we can get back to work. War is an ugly nasty thing. It always has been and always will be. Although, for the most part we need to focus on the destruction of combatants however difficult that may be.

The military works for the government, and the government is SUPPOSED to serve the people. This requires that the people are kept well informed.

I guess you are just too young to remember the manipulation of information by the government that went on during earlier conflicts.

Dude, you know nothing about terrorism. Keep eating Big macs and drinking Cocacola and let the people who knows about terrorism do the thinking. Have you ever heard about ETA and IRA (probably not). Well, It doesn´t mean that if the fighting is not done your way we are with the terrorists.

No, i am saying that 10.000+ civilians lifes lost acording to the most pro-US reports mean showing a complete disregard for human life.
Lets see if i can rephrase so everybody gets it. It is not okay to drop bombs on civilians even if you think that a terrorists may be hiding among them

Why are these children allowed to play in a war zone?(yeah, I know, the whole damn country is a war zone since the invasion/occupation) Why do their parents let them out of their sight? It is a known fact that soilders are a target, why let children get near them? For a piece of candy? This shit of little kids getting their bodies shredded by bombs has been going on since the laughable "Shock and Awe". But of course, those deaths were "collateral damage" and were expected. What a waste. I do not support AQ and surely do not gree with what they do, also I do not support GWB and do not agree with what he is doing. In my eyes they are both equally shameful.

Why don't you post a copy of the Al Queda handbook on here for everyone to see and enlighten us then?

You may as well post the CIA hand book, i am sure they are not that diferent. As a matter of fact, they have a few things in common, like pictures of Osama Bin Laden.

You need to read some history books and learn about terrorism, you will be surprised.

No. If you ask the troops what you see on TV from the liberal media is not what is really happening.

You mean like the pics are photoshopped, or maybe the video has been edited.

Well the problem with that argument is that

1) the evidence is overwhelming that these problems happened, and

2) all the time the reasons for the invasion and occupation were to free us from the risks of WMDs and terrorists, then doing "what is necessary" might have been justified. Unfortunately, when the facts showed that they were bogus, the reason changed to delivering the poor oppressed people of Iraq from evil, in which case, since you set yourselves up as white knights on white chargers, you should damnwell behave like it.
