QuoteQuoteCalling it mutilation is being a tad dramatic, dontcha think? It is, afterall, just skin....a piece of skin that I personally like, but skin nonetheless.
I won't perform a circumcision, because it's a painful procedure that is unnecessary. But in no way does it disfigure or handicap a person....unless there's a very unfortunate slip of the knife.....ewww.
.
What you wrote could apply equally well to female "circumcision"; just the removal of some bits of tissue. Most of us consider that to be mutilation.
No. Female circumcision involves removing the clitoris. That's more than a piece of skin. They're not at all equal.

QuoteI don't know which is funnier -- twisting the language to negatively portray circumcision with the word "mutilate", or the cheese heads running around the forum calling themselves "complete" men.
Both are pretty funny, let's call it a tie.
Actually, the funniest of all are those who have nothing more to add to the discussion and revert to calling complete men cheese heads.

Over and out.

QuoteMy ex never lasted as long as my current, mutilated BF. I guess there is an advantage after all!
Does your current BF know that you think of him as a mutilated, incomplete man?

I'm a very mutilated guy! I've had both my tonsils and wisdom teeth out, so I don't know what eating is like. And I tore my ACL, so I don't know what it's like when a 'complete man' runs.
AND, sometimes when I bike long distances, that entire area down there goes numb! No wonder I know nothing about what sex is like.

QuoteThe female genital mutilation prcacticed in some parts of the world is a clitorectomy, not a hood mod. This will hamper, if not destroy, a woman's ability to have an orgasm. My cut job has never given me any problem in that department. You're mixing apples and oranges.QuoteI think it's absolutely barbaric. All one has to do is teach his child how to wash correctly underneath the foreskin and it's not going to be a problem. We rant and rave about "primitive cultures" in Africa that engage in female genital mutilation, but turn a blind eye to the thousands of infants to whom this happens every day in our own country.
It's also done largely for religious/cultural reasons, as much of male circumcision is done. There is no good reason for it other than "this is the way my religion has always done it." In that sense, it's similar.

As far as I recall, there's more than "a piece of skin" involved. There is a rich supply of nerves and some blood vessels that are removed too.
The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

well....there are cutaneous nerves and the blood vessels that supply the foreskin. They'd be pretty useless without the tissues that they supply.... Neither affects the functioning of the penis. But if you remove the clitoris (or its homologue, the penis), then you're getting into an area rich in nerves and blood vessels.

For whoever it was who asked about a blow job, if you bathe regularly, you have a much better chance of getting sex, period, and your chances of getting a blowjob increase exponentially.
If I'd had a boychild, I'd have allowed him to choose later, rather than making a decision for him at birth.

cheese heads? i wash my dick everyday sometimes twice. no cheese on this bad boy?
noone has commented on my query about the fact that the foreskin becomes a part of the shaft of an erect penis, do circumcised charechters have smaller erect penises because they do not have the extention? my forskin gives me at least an inch more than if i was snipped i'm sure.

QuoteAll of my 4 boys are cut. See no problem with it.
My oldest boy is cut.. My youngest isn't. I'd never allow that to happen to one of my children again.. Try watching a video of the event. Might change your mind. Babies are going through enough stress just being born and adjusting to a million things. The last thing they need is to have a god given piece of them lopped off for false reasons.
My 2 year old is uncut. We haven't had a single problem with him. When he gets older if he wants it done that's HIS DECISION. Not mine.
I don't suggest getting it done to your kids (that goes for everyone). I originally wanted my 2 year old boy cut (because I wanted him to be like me) and for all the other false bullshit reasons people say get your son circumsized.
Human beings should have the right to make that decision themselves.

So, what major issues has your youngest had that would create such a firm attitude against it? Nightmares? Acting out? Any behaviour issues?
Some think this "multiation" scared the child for life -
Ask him if he remembers this "tragic" event.
I'll bet he won't know what you are talking about

The drunk jumper we gaffers taped to a bench the other night after stripping him down to nothing but a cypres bum-bag didn't remember it in the morning either.
That doesn't make the act itself any less cruel though.
(what made it not a cruel act was it really really funny and he laughed his head off at the photo's the next day).

Alot of women don't remember being gang raped.. Does that mean it didn't happen? For you to make such a shallow statement shows that you know absolutely nothing about psychology and how neuropathways in very young children are formed and developed.
Like I said watch the video. If it doesn't change your mind you simply should not be a parent.
according to the book Man's Body, an Owners Manual (where, in one chapter, they tell you in more detail than you'd want to know re. av penis size, distance of ejaculation, etc..) they say there's no diff. in erect length between circumcised & uncircumcised. This is because during circumcision, no erectile tissue is removed.Quotenoone has commented on my query about the fact that the foreskin becomes a part of the shaft of an erect penis, do circumcised charechters have smaller erect penises because they do not have the extention?
They also happen to mention how the % difference in flaccid penis length is greater than in erect penises. In case anyone was wondering.

So, what behavior issues have you had with your son that you attribute to him being cut? Just curious since I'm so shallow. Maybe you can help me with that answer? Uh, you chose to judge me instead of answering my question.Quoteyou simply should not be a parent
